CLP Leader Debabrata Saikia Accuses Former Forest Official M.K. Yadava of Misconduct in Memorable Memorandum

Congress Legislature Party (CLP) leader Debabrata Saikia has vehemently criticized the Assam state government over the appointment of retired forest official M.K. Yadava as Special Chief Secretary (Forest) for a year. Saikia submitted a memorandum to the Governor of Assam, listing ten major allegations against Yadava during his service tenure. The accusations include misuse of power, involvement in unauthorized land diversion, negligence in wildlife protection, misappropriation of funds, and alleged rigging of Rhino Population Estimation figures. Saikia’s detailed memorandum calls attention to various incidents, raising concerns about Yadava’s appointment and demanding a thorough investigation into the allegations.
