CM Announces ₹25,000 Relief for Sivasagar Gas Leak Victims

CM Himanta Biswa Sarma announced ₹25,000 aid for each family affected by the ONGC gas leak in Bhatiapar, Sivasagar. About 350 families were displaced after the June 12 incident. Sarma assured further compensation after talks with ONGC and the Centre. A U.S. well control expert may be brought in as high-pressure leakage continues.
