CM Sarma Announces Welfare Boost for 1.8 Lakh Households in Baksa

CM Himanta Biswa Sarma announced that 1.8 lakh households in Baksa will benefit from key state welfare schemes. During his BTR visit, he revealed an increase in Orunodoi scheme coverage from 45,000 to 60,000 families. Over 60,000 women are beneficiaries under Mahila Udyomita. Under the Atmanirbhar Assam scheme, 1,200 youths will receive Rs 2 lakh each. He also announced 4,000 new ration cards and reviewed progress of other schemes. All initiatives will be implemented this month.
