CM Sarma Assures Tripartite Talks on Hills Autonomous State Demand

Assam CM Himanta Biswa Sarma met with the Forum for Hills Autonomous State Movement (FHASM) on July 11 to discuss their demands. He assured efforts to hold a tripartite meeting with the Centre and FHASM for a peaceful resolution. Sarma also reviewed the Karbi Accord 2021 implementation and reiterated plans for constitutional validation of RHAC, with talks to involve Union Home Minister Amit Shah.
