CM Sarma Inspects Emergency Landing Facility on NH-2 in Moran

CM Himanta Biswa Sarma inspected the Emergency Landing Facility (ELF) on NH-2 in Moran, Dibrugarh. The 4.2-km stretch will allow emergency landings of fighter jets like Rafale, Tejas, and Hercules. Built jointly by NHAI and the IAF, it includes an ATC tower and safety fencing. The road will serve regular traffic but can be used for aircraft during emergencies. PM Modi is expected to inaugurate it soon.
