CM Sarma Launches Campaign to Honour Zubeen Garg’s True Legacy

Assam CM Himanta Biswa Sarma clarified that the BJP’s campaign, “Moi O Zubeen’or Anuragi, Ami O Zubeen’or Anuragi,” aims to unite genuine admirers of late singer Zubeen Garg and preserve his legacy. Sarma said the initiative seeks to distinguish real fans from those using Garg’s name for political gain. The government plans to build music schools, install Garg’s statues, and have BJP workers plant Nahor trees in his memory. He also assured a fair, fast-track probe into Garg’s death and urged fans to uphold the artiste’s values and vision for a culturally rich Assam.
