College Student Found Dead at Sivasagar Homestay, Probe Underway

Sivasagar: A 22-year-old college student, identified as Krishna Gogoi, was found dead under mysterious circumstances at a homestay near Joysagar on Tuesday. Police recovered the body and sent it for post-mortem examination to determine the exact cause of death.

According to police, the student had checked into the homestay with a youth identified as Abinash Konwar, who has been detained for questioning. Authorities said an investigation is underway to ascertain the circumstances surrounding the incident.
