Cooperative Mela in Khanapara, Guwahati, on January 9

The Department of Cooperation is planning a cooperative mela for January 9–11 at Khanapara’s Ganesh Mandir Indoor Stadium Playground. On January 9, Minister of Cooperation Nandita Garlosa will inaugurate the mela.

The Cooperative Mela intends to give cooperative societies and federations a platform for networking and marketing while showcasing the successes and potential of the cooperative sector in Assam. More than a hundred booths showcasing a wide range of goods, including dairy products, honey, spices, handlooms, organic farming, and handicrafts, will be present at the Cooperative Mela. In addition, school and college student competitions, seminars, workshops, and cultural programmes will be held during the Cooperative Mela.
