CPI (M) Alleges BJP Election Violations, Intensifies Campaign in Barpeta

The Communist Party of India (Marxist) (CPI (M)) held a press conference in Barpeta, accusing the Bharatiya Janata Party (BJP) of violating election guidelines by distributing forms to beneficiaries under the guise of a socio-economic survey. CPI (M) leader Suprakash Talukdar stated that the party has lodged a complaint with the Election Commission regarding this matter. Talukdar also criticized the Asom Gana Parishad (AGP) for its alleged failure to protect its founding president’s constituency from the BJP. Meanwhile, CPI (M) candidate Manoranjan Talukdar’s campaign in Barpeta has intensified, with door-to-door campaigns and public meetings underway. Leaders from Delhi’s farmers’ union are set to join the campaign in support of Talukdar.
