Crossroads Samaritan Council and Starbucks India Join Forces to Drive Road Safety Awareness in Guwahati
In a noteworthy collaboration, The Crossroads Samaritan Council, a prominent NGO in Guwahati, Assam, has partnered with Starbucks India to spearhead an initiative aimed at promoting awareness regarding road safety. The strategic undertaking aligns with the objectives of the UN Global Plan – Decade of Action for Road Safety 2021-2030, which targets a significant reduction of road-related fatalities and injuries by 50%.
Adding a significant touch to the event was the esteemed presence of the honorable Justice of the High Court, Justice Devashis Barua, who attended the meeting. His participation underscored the importance of the initiative and highlighted the commitment of the legal fraternity to the cause of road safety.
The focal point of this impactful awareness campaign is Zoo Road, located in the heart of Guwahati, Assam.
