CRS to Inspect New Double-Line Railway Sections in Katihar Division from June 12

Commissioner of Railway Safety (CRS), Northeast Frontier Circle, Sumeet Singhal, will conduct a statutory inspection of the newly constructed Katihar–Kuretha and Katihar–Sonaili broad gauge double-line sections from June 12 to 14.

The inspection will cover tracks, bridges, signalling, electrical systems and safety arrangements, with speed trials scheduled for June 14. The project is expected to enhance rail capacity, operational efficiency and regional connectivity under Northeast Frontier Railway.
