Ranoj Pegu Reviews Free Textbook Distribution Plan for 2027-28 Academic Session

Assam Education Minister Ranoj Pegu chaired a meeting of the State Level Empowered Committee on Free Textbooks to review preparations for the procurement, printing, transportation and distribution of free textbooks for the 2027-28 academic session.

The meeting discussed enrolment data management, financial requirements, printing costs and digital initiatives, including e-books. Pegu directed officials to ensure timely availability of quality textbooks across Assam and complete all related activities within the prescribed deadlines.
