Curfew Imposed in Ukhrul After Houses Set Ablaze

Curfew has been imposed in parts of Manipur’s Ukhrul district after miscreants allegedly set fire to several houses in villages around Litan. The incidents occurred overnight, triggering tension in the area.

Manipur Police said security has been tightened with the deployment of adequate forces and senior officers on the ground. A Joint Control Room has been set up at Litan Police Station to coordinate security measures. Authorities said the situation is sensitive but under control and urged residents to remain calm.
