Cyber Criminal Arrested for Blackmailing Retired Engineer in Hyderabad

Hyderabad police arrested Elahi Baksa, a cyber criminal from Guwahati, for blackmailing retired Chief Engineer J Dakshina Murty. Baksa posed as a Mumbai crime branch official, demanding Rs. 4.82 crore by threatening Murty with an obscene video. The police tracked and apprehended Baksa in Guwahati’s Satgaon locality. Baksa, a tailor by profession, has been taken to Hyderabad for further investigation. The case was registered under multiple IPC sections, and collaboration between Hyderabad and Guwahati police led to the arrest.
