Debabrata Saikia Files Cybercrime Complaint Over Morphed, Defamatory Posts

Congress MLA Debabrata Saikia has filed a complaint with the CID’s cybercrime wing, alleging that fake, morphed images and false claims about him were shared on Facebook. The posts falsely stated he apologised for exposing alleged land encroachments involving Gaurav Gogoi and land deals linked to Minister Ashok Singhal. Saikia said the manipulated content was aimed at damaging his reputation and misleading the public.
