Debabrata Saikia: There is nothing unique about the ULFA pact

Regarding the tripartite agreement that was signed on Friday, December 29, by the Government of India, the Government of Assam, and the United Liberation Front of Assam (ULFA), the leader of the opposition in the Assam Legislative Assembly, Debabrata Saikia, has released a statement.

While the government had been touting this treaty as a significant milestone, Debabrata Saikia pointed out that there was nothing special about it for the people of Assam and Assamese state. He went on to say that this agreement does not create any new opportunities for significant advancements or choices.
