Dhola-Sadiya Bridge in Assam Now Solar-Powered

Assam Chief Minister, Dr. Himanta Biswa Sarma, announced that the Dhola-Sadiya Bridge, also known as Dr. Bhupen Hazarika Setu, is now fully powered by solar energy. The project, costing Rs. 52.60 crores, includes 1,215 solar lamps along a 10.150 km stretch. This initiative enhances night-time visibility and supports sustainable energy efforts in the region.
