Dibrugarh Chosen for Water Metro Project to Boost River Transit

Dibrugarh is among 24 Indian cities selected for the Water Metro project, aiming to modernize transport using waterways. Union Minister Sarbananda Sonowal announced the initiative after visiting Kochi’s Water Metro. Guwahati and Tezpur are also included. The project will ease congestion and promote eco-friendly transit along the Brahmaputra River.
