Dibrugarh Municipal Corporation Continues Eviction Drive Against Illegal Stalls

The Dibrugarh Municipal Corporation (DMC) continued its eviction drive for the second day, removing unauthorized roadside stalls at Thana Chariali and New Market areas using JCB machinery. Notably, a fast food stall near Rambadan Restaurant, considered one of the unhygienic in the town, was also evicted. Affected vendors have requested alternative legal spaces to operate their businesses. The DMC confirmed the drive would continue, following a similar operation on Monday in the Chowkidingee area.
