Doctor Arrested for Selling Newborn in Human Trafficking Case

Dr. Niladri Shekhar Das of Sribhumi District Civil Hospital allegedly sold a newborn for money after persuading a woman to deliver instead of aborting. The baby was rescued by the District Child Protection Committee and is now under Child Welfare Committee care. Legal action has been taken, and a full investigation is underway.
