Drone Ban Imposed in Hojai Ahead of PM Modi’s Visit

Ahead of Prime Minister Narendra Modi’s visit to Hojai on April 6, the district administration has imposed a strict ban on drones, UAVs, balloons, and similar flying objects within a 3-km radius of the event venue.

District Commissioner Deba Prasad Misra issued the order under the Bharatiya Nagarik Suraksha Sanhita.

The restriction covers the Srimanta Sankardev Nagar Playground, where the public meeting will be held, and the temporary helipad at Borboha Field. The ban will remain in force throughout the Prime Minister’s visit.
