Eight Arrested in Theft Case by Dispur Police

Guwahati: Dispur Police have arrested eight people in connection with a theft case. The arrested persons were identified as Sanjib Das, 26, Ratan Barman, 30, Raju Das, 30, Mainuddin Ali, 20, Safiqul Islam, 26, Shivankar Das, 22, Chandan Chetry, 35, and Kankan Baishya, 23.

According to police, the accused are from different areas including Hengrabari, Mushalpur, Bharalumukh, Mukalmua, Juria and Khanapara. Legal proceedings have been initiated against all eight arrested persons, while further investigation into the case is underway.
