Elderly Man Found Dead Near CM Vigilance Office in Guwahati

The body of 64-year-old Madan Mohan Deuri Bharali from North Lakhimpur was found in a canal near the CM Vigilance Office in Guwahati. Police suspect he had been dead for several days.

Bharali, a retired Agriculture Department employee, was reportedly suffering from Alzheimer’s-like mental issues and went missing on November 6 while staying with relatives.

He was under the care of a woman who had assisted him for years. Birubari Police have launched an investigation to determine the cause of death.
