Elderly Woman Killed by Train in Chirang District

An unidentified elderly woman was killed when the northbound Avadh Assam Express struck her at Baghmara in Bijni area of Chirang district on Tuesday. The body was recovered by the railway police and taken to Baghmara police station. Authorities suspect a possible suicide. The body will undergo a post-mortem at a nearby hospital.
