Elephant Safaris Resume at Pobitora Wildlife Sanctuary

A month after its reopening, Pobitora Wildlife Sanctuary has launched elephant safaris for domestic and international tourists. This year, 20 jeep safaris and 13 elephant safaris are available.

Home to 107 rhinos, 500+ wild buffaloes, and 385 bird species, Pobitora is drawing Nature lovers as migratory birds arrive. Earlier delays in elephant safaris were caused by waterlogged paths due to heavy rains. Forest officials anticipate higher tourist footfall in the coming days.
