Assam swimmer Elvis Ali Hazarika is set to become the first Asian to attempt ice swimming in Antarctica. He needs ₹40–50 lakh for the mission and will train in the UK before heading for Antarctica. If successful, he’ll be the 37th man globally to complete the feat.
