Assam Forms Commission to Resolve KAAC Land Disputes

The Assam government has formed a commission to address disputes over inclusion and exclusion of areas under Karbi Anglong Autonomous Council. Formed on April 29, the commission is led by Dr. B.K. Chakravarthy and includes DCs from six districts. It follows a peace pact with Karbi groups under the Sixth Schedule.
