Fake CBI Extortion Attempt Rocks Jorhat, One Apprehended

In Jorhat, a local business, DB Enterprise, faced a harrowing ordeal when a group posing as CBI officials demanded Rs 10 lakh from them. The imposters arrived in a four-wheeler and one has been captured by the police while three others fled. Shockingly, this isn’t the first time they targeted DB Enterprise, having made a similar attempt a week prior. Authorities are intensifying efforts to apprehend the remaining culprits involved in the extortion scheme.
