Fake Certificate Racket Busted in Dhubri, One Arrested

Police in Dhubri raided a private institution named “English Education Academy” and uncovered an alleged fake academic certificate racket.

One person, Sagar Ghosh, was arrested, while the academy’s in-charge and several staff members fled and are currently absconding. The investigation began after a student allegedly used a fake HSLC marksheet for college admission.

Police seized forged marksheets, certificates, computers and other documents during the raid. Officials suspect the institution was issuing fake educational certificates in exchange for money and may be linked to a larger network.
