Fatal Highway Collision in Biswanath District, Assam

During the early hours of Sunday morning, a tragic road accident occurred on National Highway 15 at Bihpukhuri in Bihali, Biswanath district, Assam. A Bolero pickup vehicle en route from Nagaon to Majuli crashed into barricades, resulting in one fatality and leaving two others severely injured. The deceased, identified as Shabdul Ali, lost his life at the scene, while the injured, Azarul Islam and Shahnul Alam, were rushed to Biswanath Chariali Civil Hospital in critical condition. The driver of the vehicle fled the scene following the incident, as reported by sources.
