Father and Son Killed After Tree Falls on Scooter Near Guwahati

Guwahati: A 40-year-old man and his 8-year-old son lost their lives after a roadside tree suddenly collapsed onto their scooter in the Chandubi Rajapara area on June 22. The victims were identified as Kartik Rabha and Bhrigumoni Rabha.

The father and son were travelling to visit a relative when the accident occurred near the Muduki–Hatigarh junction. Police recovered the bodies and cleared the road. The incident has renewed concerns over the danger posed by decayed trees along roads in the region.
