Father Murders Infant Daughter in Tinsukia District Amid Domestic Dispute

A horrific incident unfolded in Bebejia, Tinsukia district, under the Pengeri Police Station jurisdiction, where a father allegedly killed his four-month-old daughter with a sharp weapon on Sunday. Locals reported that Bikram Munda was involved in an argument with his wife when he, in a fit of rage, attacked his daughter.

The Pengeri Police swiftly arrived at the scene, arrested Munda, and sent the infant’s body for a post-mortem examination. This incident marks the third case of fathers killing their young children in the Pengeri area in the past three months, prompting outrage from the local community.
