Pandu Station Colony in Guwahati faced severe flooding on Thursday due to a faulty installation of the West Guwahati Water Supply Project (WSP) by Gammon. A Guwahati Jal Board (GJB) source revealed that a plate within the water network opened, causing uncontrolled water flow.

While GJB promised a quick fix, residents reported the issue had persisted for days. Ongoing water supply infrastructure failures have raised concerns about project quality and maintenance. Locals remain doubtful about long-term solutions.
