Ferry Services Between Majuli’s Nimati Ghat and Kamalabari Resume After Flood Suspension

Ferry services between Majuli’s Nimati Ghat and Kamalabari have resumed after a temporary suspension due to rising water levels in the Brahmaputra River. The services were halted for five days due to flood-induced havoc in the state. With water levels now receding, ferries have resumed operations, adapting to new routes as necessary. However, the Nimati-Aphalamukh ferry service remains suspended, with efforts underway to restore operations across all affected routes.
