Financial assistance for flood provided to Himachal Pradesh by Assam government

The Assam government has decided to provide the disaster-stricken state of Himachal Pradesh a one-time financial aid of Rs. 10 crores in response to the devastating flood there.

According to the Chief Minister’s Office on the microblogging platform “X,” the financial aid was given through the Chief Minister’s Relief Fund under the name “Aapda Rahat Kosh 2023.”

In view of the hardships being faced by our brothers and sisters of Himachal Pradesh, the Assam Cabinet has decided to donate ₹10 cr to the Government of Himachal Pradesh.
