Fire Breaks Out at Commercial Building in Guwahati

Guwahati: A fire broke out at a commercial building along the Silpukhuri–Guwahati Club stretch on Friday afternoon, sending thick smoke across the area. The building, which had remained closed for a long time, was reportedly undergoing renovation work.

Four fire tenders were deployed to control the blaze, while traffic movement in the area was temporarily suspended as a precaution. No injuries or casualties have been reported, and the exact cause of the fire is yet to be determined.
