Fire Destroys Homes in Bongaigaon, Assam

A fire near Balarpet Tiniali Bazaar in Bongaigaon, Assam, destroyed three homes and a tempo vehicle, causing losses of Rs. 30 lakh.

The properties, owned by Samed Ali, Suleman Ali, and Rafiqul Islam, were completely gutted. An electrical short circuit is suspected.

Quick action by firefighters and locals stopped the blaze from spreading to the nearby marketplace. Police are investigating the incident.
