Flying Squads Crack Down on Cash Movement Ahead of Lok Sabha Elections

In Kamrup Metropolitan District, flying squads have been deployed to curb the illegal movement of cash and contraband in anticipation of the upcoming Lok Sabha elections. Recent operations by these squads have resulted in the seizure of approximately Rs 25,25,080 from various locations in the city. It’s emphasized that individuals must possess valid documentation to explain carrying more than Rs 50,000 in cash during the enforcement of the Model Code of Conduct.
