For selling fake books a stall at the Assam Book Fair was sealed

Authorities closed down a stall at the Assam Book Fair after it was found allegedly selling fake books. The incident happened on the final day of the book fair, which drew an impressive crowd.

The Assam Book Fair organisers confiscated numerous books from the Bidya Mandir bookstall located in the state’s Dibrugarh district and closed it. They claimed that the stall at the book fair was engaged in the sale of fake books. It was stated that the proprietor of Bidya Mandir was unable to furnish information about the source from which he had obtained the mentioned books.
