Premature babies’ bodies were found at Lachit Ghat in Guwahati.

The discovery of two premature babies at Lachit Ghat on Thursday shocked Guwahati. A male and a female infant were among the deceased. The two premature babies are thought to be between five and six months old, according to reports. At the Lachit Ghat, they were abandoned. The bodies were discovered by the Bharalumukh Police next to a pit that had been excavated at Lachit Ghat. The police believed that the pits had been dug in order to bury the bodies, but the bodies had been left there instead.
