Forest Range Officer Caught Red-Handed: Directorate of Vigilance and Anti-Corruption Cracks Down on Corruption in Golaghat

In their ongoing efforts against corruption, the Directorate of Vigilance and Anti-Corruption in Assam’s Golaghat district apprehended Forest Range Officer Gobinda Taid. The officer, stationed at Jamuguri Range, was caught red-handed accepting a bribe of Rs. 20,000 from a complainant seeking permission for the movement of vehicles transporting forest products. The anti-corruption cell reported the successful operation, emphasizing their commitment to combat corruption.
