Foundation Stone for Kaziranga Elevated Corridor to Be Laid Soon

Chief Minister Himanta Biswa Sarma announced that the foundation stone for the Kaziranga elevated corridor will be laid by December or January. Approved by the Centre, the 34.5 km project aims to ensure safe wildlife movement, reduce road accidents, and boost eco-tourism. The ₹6,957 crore project will also widen the NH-715 Kaliabor–Numaligarh section to four lanes, promoting connectivity and conservation in Assam.
