Gauhati University researchers have created a low-cost, eco-friendly humidity sensor using graphene oxide and pencil-drawn electrodes on paper. Led by Dr. Hemen Kalita, the sensor aids in monitoring plant and human health and has been featured in ACS Applied Electronic Materials. It offers applications in soil moisture, breath analysis, skin monitoring, and smart diapers, making it a sustainable option for agriculture and healthcare.
