Gauhati University Hosts Trauma Life Support Training

Gauhati University conducted a two-day Basic Trauma Life Support (BTLS) training programme on March 24–25 in collaboration with SaveLIFE Foundation.
The programme aimed to build awareness and train participants in emergency response skills such as patient assessment, airway management, bleeding control, and stabilisation. Around 100 NSS volunteers and students took part.
The event was inaugurated by Dr Ranjan Kumar Kakati, while Registrar Prof Utpal Sarma concluded the programme by distributing certificates and encouraging participants to use their skills for public welfare.
