Gauhati University Students Continue Hunger Strike, Demand Written Assurance

Gauhati University students continued their indefinite hunger strike for the second day, demanding a formal written response to their concerns. Despite a visit by the Vice-Chancellor with verbal assurances, students refused to end the protest.

The situation intensified after one student collapsed and was hospitalised, though now stable. With no official communication from authorities, students have vowed to continue the agitation.
