Gaurav Gogoi Accuses Assam CM of Favouring Corporates Over Public Welfare

APCC president Gaurav Gogoi accused CM Himanta Biswa Sarma of favoring Adani and neglecting public interest. At a press meet, he alleged land was being allotted to corporates without due process and criticized a monopoly benefiting select contractors. Gogoi also claimed the CM’s actions aimed to block Sarbananda Sonowal’s return. On Congress matters, he said party restructuring is ongoing, with a report due by June 18. He urged public support ahead of the 2026 polls.
