Gaurav Gogoi Slams Assam Govt Over Education Crisis and Governance Issues

Congress leader and Jorhat MP Gaurav Gogoi criticized the Assam government for the sharp fall in board exam pass rates, accusing it of neglecting education. He slammed CM Himanta Biswa Sarma for focusing on flyovers and elections over academic reforms. Gogoi alleged suppression of opposition through police actions and highlighted delays in key infrastructure projects like the Jorhat–Majuli bridge. He vowed not to be intimidated by government tactics ahead of the panchayat polls.
