Gaurav Gogoi to Raise Northeast University Crisis in Parliament

Congress MP Gaurav Gogoi said he will strongly raise issues affecting universities in the Northeast in Parliament. He expressed concern over administrative crises, particularly at Tezpur University, where students and teachers have demanded the Vice-Chancellor’s resignation over alleged irregularities. A central inquiry team is currently investigating the matter. Gogoi said declining academic standards and mismanagement at Tezpur University, NEHU, and Guwahati University need urgent government attention.
