Gaurav Gogoi Urges Calm, Accuses Assam Govt of Mishandling Baksa Incident

APCC president Gaurav Gogoi criticized the Assam government for failing to implement an action plan to control the unrest near Baksa jail. He urged Zubeen Garg’s fans to remain calm and patient while the investigation continues, stressing that this is a time for “strength and self-control, not violence.”

Gogoi said the Congress is ready to support the government in maintaining peace. He also visited Zubeen Garg’s samadhi at Hatimura and announced that Rahul Gandhi will visit the site and meet the late singer’s family during his personal trip to Guwahati.
