GMC Conducts Enumerator Training to Strengthen Census 2027 Preparations

Guwahati, August 7: The Guwahati Municipal Corporation (GMC) organised a Charge-IV training session for enumerators and supervisors at the PWD Convention Centre in Dispur as part of its preparations for Census 2027. The programme was reviewed by Biswajit Pegu, IAS, Director of Census Operations, Assam, and Chief Principal Census Officer.

During the visit, Pegu interacted with participants and urged them to carry out their duties with dedication, accuracy and professionalism. GMC said the training aims to equip field personnel with the skills and knowledge required to ensure the smooth and accurate conduct of the Census 2027 exercise.
